  • Choc nut powerballs

Our tried and tested choc nut powerballs are quick’n’easy to make, and great for an on-the-go snack.

These little homemade balls of power give an instant hit of protein pre-or-post workout. Plus if you’re a sucker for sweet things, try them as a healthy replacement for that daily Snickers habit.

There’s no messing about with an exotic recipe list and fancy prep. Just pop to your local supermarket and pick up these four off-the-shelf ingredients, whizz them up and get rolling.

Ingredients

Directions

Blend together the oats and protein powder until the oats are chopped to small pieces. Add the banana and Nutella/peanut cacao spread, and blast again till the mixture turns doughy.

To finish, grab a tablespoon, scoop up the perfect portion for each ball and roll away. Quick tip for the rolling – rinse and dry your hands after each ball rolled. This helps to make sure the balls stick together and not to your mitts.

Lay out your balls on a plate and leave to set in the fridge for a couple of hours. Once solid, keep your yummy powerballs* refrigerated in an air-tight container.
