Kids Camp Instructors

About this Opportunity

We’re looking for bright and bubbly kids holiday program instructors to create remarkable sports and activities-based experiences for children on the Kids Holiday Camp running the 24th June to 5th July. We need team members who are energetic, hands-on, and caring, and whose values align with the UQ Sport values.

Ideally you will be studying primary education in sports or physical education, with a passion for engaging kids in physical activity and delivering sports based programs.

In this short term role you will deliver multi-activity sports based holiday program to children aged 6-12, ensuring a fun, safe and engaging environment is provided to all participants. Opportunities available to stay on at UQ Sport for each holiday program.

 

IT IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLE THAT YOU ARE:

  • Available for Group Interviews on Wednesday 29th May from 4pm onwards. This is the only interview session – if you are unavailable for this date you will not be considered for the role.
  • Available for UQ Sport Induction 10th June  (9am – 12noon only)
  • Available for on job training on 12th June from 4pm onwards
  • Ready and available for shifts between 24th June – 5th July (Shift work, not required to be available all day, each day)

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Current first aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Blue Card
