UQ Sport is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sport Instructors to join our energetic and fun team! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone studying Education and who is passionate about working with children. This role gives you a chance to build the skills needed in this field and gain valuable experience in our supportive working environment to kick-start your career.
Reporting to the Coordinator – Schools & Kids, Instructors are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of junior sport programs under the supervision of the Junior Sport Supervisor. This includes multi-activity holiday programs and school sport programs for UQSport to create a safe and actively engaging environment that will maximise participation and meet industry best practice standards.
Duties and responsibilities
This role will see you delivering game-sense and sports specific activities to increase involvement of children in junior sport programs. You will deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the program schedule and ensure that children are actively engaged.
Skills and experience
You will have demonstrated experience in the delivery of sport and recreation programs for children. You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic and personable with excellent communication skills. Your exceptional relationship building skills will see you integrating well within the organisation. Your well-developed planning and organisational skills will put you ahead of the rest.

- First Aid/CPR Certificates
- Blue Card
