Reporting to the Program Manager – Fitness, you will be responsible for delivering Strength and Conditioning programs to support UQ Sport customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science (or related qualification) and a Level 1 Coaching accreditation. You will need to have a solid knowledge of and the ability to construct, strength, power and endurance based training schedules, both gym and field based, with components of testing as required. The successful candidate needs to be able to work as an effective team member and be willing to work with both elite and aspiring to be elite athletes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate personal initiative and ability to work autonomously. You will need to have outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential. First Aid and CPR certification, and a Blue Card is also required.
