The UniSport Nationals are comprised of two flagship events – Nationals Div 1 and 2 – as well as a number of standalone Div 1-classified competitions held throughout the year.

The Indigenous Nationals is a week-long multi-sport competition for indigenous student-athletes from universities across Australia.
The 2018 event will be held at Macquarie University in Sydney, with each university submitting one team to play in netball, basketball, touch football, and volleyball.
In 2018, Nationals Snow will be held at Mt Buller and will be contested in both men’s and women’s competitions across four sports: alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboard, and cross-country skiing.
Nationals 3×3 Basketball
Universities are invited to enter men’s and women’s teams in the Nationals 3×3 Basketball event. The big prize? The winning university will automatically qualify for a place in the FISU 3×3 Basketball World Championship event!
Nationals T20 Cricket
The best Australian university T20 cricket teams will go head-to-head over a five day challenge in Sydney, with competitions open to both male and female players.
Grab a board and hit the waves for Team UQ at 2018 Nationals Surfing! The event will be held at Tweed Coast, and will be contested in men’s, women’s and mixed formats.
The 2018 Nationals Rowing regatta will be held in September as part of the 2018 Nationals Div 1 event, with all the action taking place at Wyaralong Dam.
Nationals Distance Running
Distance Running will be offered at a number of major running events across the country in 2018 – simply register as a UQ athlete to have your results counted! Both men’s and women’s divisions are available across 10km, half marathon and marathon distances.
In 2018, Nationals Triathlon was held at the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival, with divisions for both males and females.
The 2018 Nationals Orienteering competition was held in conjunction with the Sprint Melbourne Weekend event at Monash University’s Clayton campus, with events for both male and female competitors.
