UQ Sport is seeking reliable and experienced Athletics Coaches to join our fun team! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about Athletics, looking for an opportunity to develop their coaching skills at our Olympic standard Athletics track.
Reporting to the Programs and Events Coordinator, our Athletics Coaches are responsible for the development and delivery of athletic programs to a variety of age and ability levels, and provision of a consistent customer experience to create an environment that will maximise participation and increase revenue. Due to the nature of this role, we’re seeking flexible candidates who are available to work after school hours and school holidays.
This role will see you developing and delivering coaching programs while ensuring high level safety standards within those programs. You’ll assist in the delivery of events, meets and carnivals at the Athletics Centre as required. You’ll provide exceptional customer service to current and potential UQ Sport customers. 
You have previous experience delivering high quality athletics programs with proven knowledge and understanding of the athletics industry. You’re energetic, dedicated and personable with excellent communication and customer service skills. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will ensure successful delivery of your programs.

To be successful in this role you must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 1 Community Athletics Coach or equivalent
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Current Blue Card
  • FREE access to all UQ Sport venues
  • FREE entry to group fitness programs
