THE ROLE
UQ Sport is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Officers to join our energetic and fun team! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone dedicated to driving sales and delivering outstanding service. Reporting to the Venue Supervisor - Tennis, this role is responsible for the ongoing delivery of exceptional Customer Service to all customer segments interacting with UQ Sport at the Tennis Centre.
 
Due to the nature of the business, we’re seeking flexible candidates who are available to fill shifts throughout the day as the centre operates from 6:30am till 10:15pm, across a 7 day operation.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to current and potential UQ Sport customers. You’ll deliver initiatives to drive sales of UQ Sport products and services, whilst maintaining a positive profile for UQ Sport in the wider University community. Your exceptional communication skills will ensure high quality product knowledge and consistent customer service standards.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You’ll have a minimum of 12 months experience in a customer service environment in a sports facility/venue, with proven retail experience. You’re self-motivated, energetic and personable, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Your exceptional relationship building skills will see you integrating well within the organisation. Knowledge of the sport of Tennis, tennis product knowledge and/or the operations of a tennis centre will put you ahead of the rest.
 
To be successful in this role you must have, or be willing to obtain, the following qualifications: 
  • First Aid certificate
  • CPR certificate
