ABOUT THE COMPANY
UQ Sport is an independent, not-for-profit organisation located at the University of Queensland responsible for the promotion of sport, physical recreation and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle within the university and broader communities. We deliver over 300 diverse programs to students, staff and alumni of the University and general public. We employ over 65 permanent staff and over 200 casuals throughout St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

ABOUT THE ROLE
UQ Sport is seeking motivated and enthusiastic casual netball umpires to join our energetic and fun team! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience and/or qualifications in netball umpiring, to earn some extra cash in a fun and enjoyable environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Reporting to the Netball Convenor and the Competitions Coordinator, our casual netball umpires are responsible for safe conduct of fixtures in accordance with the rules and regulations of the game. Your primary goal is to ensure that the delivery of scheduled fixtures meet industry best practice standards whilst maintaining a positive profile for UQ Sport in the wider University community.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You’ll have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of netball umpiring and/or be familiar with the rules of netball. You’re self-motivated, energetic and personable with excellent communication and customer service skills.
