Social Water Polo

Whatever your water polo experience, you should jump in and try this exciting social sport. Some swimming ability is a definite advantage and if you enjoy being in the water then this is your game. Teams are mixed and consist of six players with two female players needed in the pool at all times during the game. A game is played in two 12 minute halves with a two minute break at half time.

Competition Info

Semester 1 2017

Enrolments open: Monday, 23 January.

Early bird enrolments close: Sunday, 19 February.

All enrolments close: Sunday, 26 February.

Mid-Semester Break: No fixtures from Friday, 14 April to Sunday, 23 April. Fixtures resume the week of Monday, 24 April. 

No fixtures on public holidays: Friday, 14 April, Monday 17 April, Tuesday 25 April and Monday 1 May 2017

*Please note that enrolments may close early should competition capacity be reached. Likewise, the enrolment deadline may be extended if the competition has spots available.

Uniform and Equipment

Balls are provided and officials are rostered for every game. Teams must wear the same coloured water polo caps, which are provided, and it is recommended that players wear mouthguards.
