UQ Sport is seeking energetic and motivated Sports Officials to join our fun team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about sport.
Reporting to the Competitions Coordinator, our Sports Officials are responsible for the safe conduct of sporting fixtures in accordance with the rules and regulations of each individual sport. We’re currently seeking candidates to officiate the following social sports:
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Indoor Soccer
  • Outdoor Soccer
  • Touch Football
  • Water Polo
This role will see you providing assistance to the Sport Convenor to deliver scheduled fixtures. You’ll ensure the officiating of sporting competitions meet industry best practice standards, whilst providing exceptional customer service to current and potential UQ Sport customers.
You’ll have previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sport specific rules. You’re personable and resilient, with excellent communications skills. Having a sport specific officiating qualification will put you ahead of the rest.
