ABOUT THE ROLE
UQ Sport is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable casual Tennis Coach to join our energetic Tennis Centre team! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about the game of Tennis.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator – Tennis, our Tennis Coaches are responsible the delivery of services for players of all ages and ability through junior and adult coaching programs, and private sessions.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
In this role you’ll be responsible for the delivery of high quality tennis programs to grow participation at the Tennis Centre. This is achieved through ensuring that the delivery of these activities meet industry best practice standards and customer expectations. You’ll provide consistent exceptional customer service to current and potential UQ Sport customers and ongoing promotion of UQ Sport’s products and services, whilst maintaining a positive profile for UQ Sport in the wider University community.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You must have a minimum of 2 years of tennis coaching experience. You’re self-motivated, dependable and honest with all-star communication skills. Your exceptional sportsmanship will see you integrating well within the organisation.
 
To be successful in this role you must have the following qualifications:
  • Junior Development Coaching certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Blue Card
