If your child has any medical conditions – such as asthma, anaphylaxis or epilepsy, or requires any medication to be administered during a program by a UQ Sport staff member – you must ensure a Permission to Administer Medication Form has been completed and submitted. The child’s parent and/or carer must also lodge an Action Plan (a written document stating all required medical actions) to the Program Coordinator prior to commencement of the program.
All UQ Sport staff are First Aid-trained and will initially attend to the injury. If serious, UQ Security will be contacted who will immediately send an Advanced Trained Officer, or if necessary, call an ambulance. In all injury cases, parents/carers will be notified ASAP and an incident report will need to be completed.
UQ Sport has several policies and procedures in place to ensure your child can participate in a fun and safe environment that fosters growth and learning. These policies include, but are not limited to, Sun Safety, Child Safe Code of Conduct, Staff Codes of Conduct, Permission to Administer Medication, First Aid, Privacy.
Yes! UQ Sport is insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
After enrolment, cancellations will only be considered in extenuating circumstances and refunds will not be given for change of mind. Individual situations will be considered by UQ Sport with the provision of necessary documentation.
If you are running late please take your child to the UQ Sport Fitness Centre reception and a supervisor will take your child to join the group.
Please contact UQ Sport as soon as possible. There are fees for late pick up of $15 per child for every 15 minutes. This fee is billed in 15 minute increments and payable at the time of collecting the child.
UQ Sport Kids Holiday Camp follows the National Quality Framework (NQF) which sets out the minimum child ratio requirements for children’s services being 1:15 for over Pre-School aged children.
Parents/carers may stay for the first 15 minutes after drop-off to ensure their child has settled in after arrival.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund if your child cannot attend a particular session. If you know in advance that your child is unable to attend on a particular day, please get in touch with us.

Yes. The UQ Sport Kids Holiday Camp offers individual day and week bookings.
In the event of wet weather UQ Sport will provide indoor facilities for programs. Enrolments will only be cancelled in extreme weather events.
Drop off and pick up is located at the Meeting Place at the UQ Sport Athletics Centre.
Non-slip closed-in-shoes, broad brim hat, water bottle, sun-safe clothing, morning tea, lunch and snacks, sunscreen and a smile. Please leave electronics, valuables and toys at home.
