ALIGN & FLOW

UQ SPORT FITNESS CENTRE

Find your centre and exhale the chaos of daily life with Align & Flow Yoga. Move with your breath in a series of fluid yoga flows designed to relax the body and calm the mind, holding particular positions to deepen the stretch, and explore optimal body alignment. Yogis tend to sleep more deeply after this class and have improved posture, while the focused breathing improves lung capacity and relieves stress or anxiety.

Launching just in time for summer, our new Aqua Aerobics classes are suitable for participants of all ages, looking to bust a move in the pool. Designed to get your heart rate up while enjoying a cool dip, this workout is the perfect alternative to your usual sweat-heavy workout.

TRIATHLON RUN, RIDE and TRANSITION

UQ SPORT AQUATICS CENTRE

Join in on a number of triathlon group fitness classes suited to all skill levels, from novice to fanatic and even advanced competitors. Whether you’re looking to shave minutes off your time or simply perfect a technique – you’re on the right track!

Ride, Run and Trans are team classes each focused on perfecting one element of the race per each 60 minute stint. When attended in regular succession, Triathlon enthusiasts can see vast improvements in technique and fitness, while also making lifelong friends.
