Points Structure

One (1) point will be awarded to winning university in the following sports:

  • Cricket
  • Ultimate Disc
  • Touch Football
  • Hockey
  • Rugby League

Both Basketball and Soccer will be contested over two matches. Half-points (0.5) will be awarded to winning university of each respective match.

Beach Volleyball will be contested over three matches (two doubles & one fours match). One (1) point will be awarded to the university that wins the most matches.

Nine Tennis matches will be played (six singles & three doubles matches). One (1) point will be awarded to the university that wins the most matches at the completion of play.

Tie Procedure

In the event a match ends in a draw, the following rules apply:

BASKETBALL – If scores are level at full-time, a three (3) minute extra-time interval will be played. If scores remain tied, three-minute extra-time intervals (separated by a one (1) minute break) will continue until a winner prevails.

HOCKEY – Penalty shoot-out.

SOCCER – Penalty shoot-out.

TOUCH FOOTBALL – Golden try extra-time.

RUGBY LEAGUE – Golden point extra-time.
