An eight lane synthetic track – equipped to host school carnivals right through to national-level meets – is the centrepiece of the UQ Sport Athletics Centre! The IAAF-certified track is equipped with a digital scoreboard, electronic timing equipment and floodlights, as well a whole host of competition apparatuses – from starting blocks to hurdles.
A 565-seat grandstand – featuring function and office spaces, commentary box and café – overlooks the track, with extensive changing and toilet facilities located inside the venue.
