COVID-19 South East Queensland Restrictions
(UPDATED: 2:45pm, Thursday 29 July 2021)
The Queensland Government has announced that face mask restrictions will continue to apply for South East Queensland until 6am, Friday 6 August.
In accordance with Government requirements, and at the direction of The University of Queensland, the following remains in effect at both St Lucia and Gatton:
- All customers and patrons must carry a face mask at all times.
- All customers and patrons must wear a mask in indoor venues, except when doing strenuous exercise (including running, cycling or high-intensity interval training). This extends to our Fitness Centre, UQ Shop, Pro Shops, BrewPoint Cafés, and Functions Spaces.
- Masks are not mandatory when utilising outdoor venues and facilities, as long as 1.5m physical distancing is maintained.
- All customers and patrons must check into our venues and facilities through the Check In Qld app.
Given the changing nature of the situation, it is vital that all UQ Sport customers and patrons monitor updates and adhere to health directives outlined by the Queensland Government.
