In our hot Queensland climate there’s nothing better than a swim. The UQ Sport Aquatic Centre in St Lucia is open all year round so you can keep going through all seasons. It offers three heated swimming pools: a 50m Olympic-sized pool, a 25m pool and a shallow Program Pool used for Learn-to-Swim lessons.
Whether you’ve never swum before or you’re an elite athlete, we have swimming lessons, a class or a squad that’s right for you. On a daily basis, we provide a range of activities, including Learn-to-Swim lessons, group fitness Swimfit, and training facilities for several UQ Sport Clubs.
Heated year-round, the UQ Sport Gatton 25m swimming pool is the perfect place for a dip! Take in a leisurely swim as the morning sun rises, or cool off at the end of the day.
