Personal Training

Questions & Answers

How do I get started?

Please complete our Personal Training Enquiry form. Our team will contact with you within 48 hours of receiving your online enquiry to arrange a consultation to discuss your health and fitness goals. In your consultation, one of our Trainers will sit down with you to develop a training program that’s tailored to you.

I haven’t done any exercise in a few years. Can I jump straight into Personal Training?

Absolutely! Our Personal Training sessions cater to all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Before your first session, a Trainer will sit down with you to discuss your health and fitness goals, and develop a personalised training program. To get started, please complete our Personal Training Enquiry form.

Do you cater to people with special needs or conditions?

Yes! Personal Training is a great option if you have any limitations that make it difficult to exercise. Our Personal Trainers can develop a fitness program to allow you to participate safely and effectively. When completing our Personal Training Enquiry form, please make a note of any impairments or conditions you have.

When can I train?

When completing our Personal Training Enquiry form, please indicate your preferred training times. During your initial consultation, one of our Trainers will work with you to confirm your training program, and book you in for sessions.

Can I choose who my personal Trainer is?

Absolutely! All our Personal Trainers are qualified exercise physiologists and/or have a Certificate IV in Fitness. This ensures that you will have a Trainer with the personality and experience to best help you achieve your training goals.

Please visit our Personal Training page to browse our PT profiles, and  see which Trainer might best suit you!

What type of training is conducted during sessions?

Training sessions vary depending on what your goals and interests are. They can focus on sport-specific training, as well as injury, rehabilitation and prevention. Your Trainer will develop a personalised training program to meet your specific needs during your initial consultation.

Sessions can be conducted both inside and outside the Fitness Centre, again depending on your preference

What do I need to bring to a Personal Training session?

All you need to bring to a session is a drink bottle, a towel, and a positive attitude! Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and correct footwear (enclosed).

Do you offer any performance testing as part of Personal Training sessions?

If you would like to include performance testing (e.g. beep test, strength testing, fitness testing) during your sessions, please mention this in advance to your personal Trainer and they can easily arrange it.
