I haven’t done any exercise in a few years. Can I jump straight into Personal Training?
Yes, Personal Training is a great option if you have any concerns about exercising. Our Personal Trainers can develop a fitness program to allow all individuals to participate safely and effectively.
You and your Trainer will discuss suitable times that work for you.
Absolutely! All our Personal Trainers are qualified exercise physiologists and/or have a Certificate IV in Fitness. This ensures that you will have a Trainer with the right personality and experience to help achieve your training goals.
Training sessions vary depending on what your goals and interests are. Sessions can be conducted both inside and outside or at any UQ Sport venueand can include activities such as Swimming, Boxing, Weights, Circuits, Walking, Running, Pilates, Cycling, and much more.
All you need to bring to a session is a drink bottle, a towel, and a positive attitude! Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and correct footwear (enclosed).
If you would like to include performance testing (e.g. beep test, strength testing, fitness testing) during your sessions, please mention this in advance to your personal Trainer and they can easily arrange it.
