Can the temperature of the pool water vary?

Although we endeavour to keep the water temperature of each of our pools fixed, there are occasions where it may vary slightly. As an outdoor facility, we can experience marginal rises or drops in water temperature due to excessively hot or cold weather conditions. Outside of operational hours, we have developed processes to safely heat or cool the pool to ensure the water remains as close to its usual temperature as possible.

The target temperature for the Learn-to-Swim Program pool is 32°C, with the 50m swimming pool having a target temperature of 26°C and the 25m swimming pool having a target temperature of 29°C. As previously mentioned, as an outdoor facility, we can experience marginal rises or drops in water temperature due to excessively hot or cold weather conditions. Water temperature is monitored daily and subject to multiple pool tests to comply with Public Health Regulations 2012.
