How do I update my personal details?

The easiest way to manage your account – including updating your contact details – is via our My Account portal, accessible at the top of the UQ Sport homepage.

Can I buy a new Membership online?

Yes, you can buy a new 4 or 12 Month, or Direct Debit Membership, via our My Account portal.

How do I suspend my Membership?

Membership suspensions can be processed by visiting or calling the Fitness Centres at either the St Lucia or Gatton campuses. Please note, suspension limits apply, and are outlined in the Membership Terms and Conditions.

How do I cancel my Direct Debit Membership?

You can cancel your Direct Debit Membership via the UQ Sport My Account portal. Once logged in, click or tap the ‘Dashboard’ tab, and select ‘Memberships’ to process your cancellation request. Please note, you must serve the Minimum Term of 13 Direct Debit payments before cancelling, and you must provide 14 days’ notice of your intention to cancel your Membership.

Can I cancel my 4 or 12 Month Membership?

No, only Direct Debit customers can cancel their Membership.

Do I get a discounted rate if I am a student from a different university?

No, discounts only apply to students currently studying at The University of Queensland.

What Memberships include complimentary Fitness Consultations?

All Gold, Gym / Cardio (St Lucia), and All Access (Gatton) Members are entitled to a complimentary 45-minute Fitness Consultation every six (6) weeks. In these sessions, one of our Personal Trainers will sit down with you to discuss your health and fitness goals, and develop a training program to specifically suit you and your goals. To book a Fitness Consultation as part of your Membership, please see our Fitness Centre reception staff at either St Lucia or Gatton campuses.

How do I check-in for a Group Fitness class?

If you’re a Gold Member (St Lucia), you’ll need to check-in for a Group Fitness class via our My Account portal. Once you’re logged-in to My Account, click on the ‘Group Fitness’ tab, and select your preferred class and session time. After you’ve secured a place, an electronic entry ticket will be generated. Simply present your e-ticket, via your smartphone, on arrival at the venue.

What other options are there if I don’t want to commit to a Membership?

Our Aquatic, Fitness and Tennis Centres at St Lucia, as well as our Fitness & Aquatic Centre at Gatton, offer a range of Casual Entry Passes. You can also book indoor and outdoor courts at both campuses, and participate in an array of coaching programs. See the UQ Sport website for all the options.

What is the Minimum Term for Direct Debit Memberships?

The minimum term for Direct Debit Memberships is 13 fortnightly payments.
