We take it easy on the younger kids, offering them modified versions of the above activities, as well as:
- Campus exploration walks where they learn about our native flora and fauna
- Discover native inhabitants at the UQ Lakes, including turtles, eels and ducks
- Arts and crafts sessions for those little ones that fancy fun over fitness
Our Kids Club is open to everyone, and there is no preference given to UQ community members.
Unplug your kids from the technicolour screen and sign them up to some active fun with Kids Club!
Easter Holiday enrolments open 9 March.
Why UQ Sport Kids Club?
At Kids Club, we’ll teach your little champion healthy habits that will set them up for a lifetime of success. The more kids run, play and laugh, the more their physical and psychological skills will inevitably improve, making your child feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. Being active beats insecurities, encourages a happy mindset, and improves mental focus and cognitive skills. There really aren’t any negatives to having fun!
We operate Kids Club across our five sporting venues that make up Queensland’s largest multi-sport complex. Your child will splash in an Olympic-sized pool, make a racket at kid-sized tennis courts, stretch their little legs on an Olympic-standard athletics track, and shoot hoops in our Fitness Centre. Plus, your little soccer star will kick around on our international-standard synthetic turf fields!
Find finalised Kids Club schedules in the Downloads section below, two weeks prior to the first day.
Please note: not all activities can be offered each week, due to instructor availability.

To make the trip into UQ that little bit easier, we offer an escorted walk from the Dutton Park side (south side) of the Eleanor Schonell Bridge each day of the holiday program.
The bridge walk leaves Dutton Park at 8:30am sharp each day of the holiday program. Children are dropped off at Dutton Park by 4:20pm each afternoon.

Parents will receive an information email once enrolments close to detail the activities your child will be participating in during their time with us, what to bring each day and any relevant forms that need to be completed.
Parents are only allowed to watch for the first 15 minutes when dropping their children off. We work in conjunction with the Child Protection Act and all UQ Sport Kids Club employees hold a current working with children blue card to ensure we are providing a safe environment for your child.
