The Provide First Aid & Provide CPR courses are designed for industry, professionals and people who need to meet their workplace industry standards, maintain their first aid qualifications or want to learn important lifesaving skills.
Courses are delivered by Pulsestart Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RTO: 31869) and all courses are nationally recognised under the National Health Training Package HLTAID.
HLTAID009 (previously HLTAID001) CPR Only 9am-10am.
HLTAID011 (previously HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (inclusive of CPR) 9am – 1pm.

Provide First Aid Including CPR Training
This is a comprehensive course that covers a range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It covers common first aid injuries and medical emergencies and the subsequent provision of appropriate treatment or assistance. This course is engaging, contextualised and practical.
Assessment is through a combination of practical first aid activities and a written test paper. You will be required to demonstrate CPR on a manikin on the floor.
Please note that this course (HLTAID011) is 4 hours in duration (face-to-face) and requires on-line pre-course work to be completed. Once enrolled in this course, these online modules will be emailed directly to you for completion prior to the day of training.
On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment (HLTAID011) will be provided from Pulsestart Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RTO: 31869) valid for three years.
Please note that CPR training (HLTAID009) should be refreshed annually.
Provide CPR Training
This course will give participants the skills and knowledge to confidently manage emergency situations and provide basic life support for casualties in an emergency. It provides the knowledge and skills required to maintain life for an unconscious casualty until medical help arrives.
Assessment is through a combination of practical first aid activities and a written test paper. You will be required to demonstrate CPR on a manikin on the floor.
Please note that this course (HLTAID009) is 1.5 hours in duration (face-to-face)
On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment (HLTAID009) will be provided from Pulsestart Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RTO: 31869) valid for one year.

Important Information
USI REQUIREMENTS
- Since 1 January 2015, all students completing nationally recognised training are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
- In order to secure your enrolment, each participant is required to provide us with a USI on the day of their scheduled training session.
- Please note that Pulsestart Training Solutions Pty Ltd is required to report your USI number to our governing authority and cannot issue any certification without doing so.
- To create a USI please go to the USI website.
- Once you have created your USI, please ensure you bring your USI with you on your day of training.
